    Steve Huddleston: Pastor

    Steve came to University Christian as the Senior Pastor in March of 2004. Steve actually grew up in the Muncie area and attended University Christian until his family moved away in 1975. He is a graduate of Milligan College in Tennessee where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and history, and Cincinnati Bible Seminary where he received a Master of Arts degree in Practical Ministries. Steve was ordained into the ministry in Bethel, Ohio in 1980.

    Previous to his homecoming with UCC, Steve served for almost five years as Senior Minister in Connersville, IN. He also served as Associate Minister for 15 years in Painesville, OH and before that had ministries in Oklahoma, Virginia, and Plainfield, IN.

    Steve's personal mission statement is, "to live with integrity, preach effectively, lead courageously, serve willingly, and leave a legacy. " He is supported in his ministry by his wife Pam, and their two adult children, Heather and Aaron.

    Andrew Smiley: Youth Pastor

    Andrew Smiley was introduced to the UCC congregation in June of 2006 as the Youth Pastor. He grew up in Noblesville, IN before attending Taylor University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible with a minor in Christian Education.

    This is his first full-time ministry position, but he has served as a youth intern at White River Christian Church in Noblesville, IN, and as a volunteer for three years in the youth and music ministry at Upland United Methodist Church.

    He has a passion for the youth in this community and desires to see Christ work in their lives. He is supported by his wife, Catherine, whom he married during the summer of 2006 in Wheaton, IL.
